We plan to meet on November 8th at 7:30 pm. We will meet at the home of Tom Wulff in Churchville. Lawrence Creatura and Erik Grimm will share visuals of their recent epic climb on the Fisher Chimneys route of the beautiful and challenging Mt. Shuksan in the North Cascade Mountains of Washington. This was done the week of July 4th. They say they have a few interesting stories to tell about their adventures there.
DIRECTIONS TO TOM WULFF’S HOUSE at 80 Bowen Rd.
Take 490 west to exit 4 at Union St. Go south on Union past Chili Ave. and continue on past the Black Creek Park entrance. Turn left on Bowen Rd. Bowen Rd. is about 1.5 miles south of exit 4. Proceed down Bowen road just past Wadsworth. Watch for the next house on the left, which is Tom’s house. You may park on the lawn amongst the trees if it is dry. You may also park behind the house.
Those who wish to join RRISCC officially by paying the annual dues amount of $10.00 can do so for our new fiscal year September 1, 2004 through August 31, 2005 by sending a check to Henry Hamlin. His address can be found here. The advantages are that dues-paying members are entitled to a 15% discount at area outdoor stores, such as Snow Country, EMS and Get Out and Stay Out. Also, dues-paying members can borrow the library materials belonging to the club and Stu Milligan listed here. A membership card will be mailed to you.
