We plan to meet on Sunday evening (not our usual Monday evening time), March 13th, at 7:30 pm. We will meet at Jon Freckleton’s home. Bruno & Karin Averbeck will be sharing a PowerPoint presentation of their climbs & hikes since 2002. This will include their climb of Mt. Baker in the summer of 2003, hikes in Patagonia, South America in the winter of 2002 & climbs in Joshua Tree National Park in the winter of 2003. And, knowing the Averbecks, we may be treated to even more. Please feel free to invite your friends interested in the great outdoors.
Jon’s home is at 1651 Harris Rd., Penfield, NY
Directions to his place:
If coming from the west side of Penfield, get on I-590 and exit east on Browncroft Blvd. (route 286). Jon’s house is about 7 miles from I-590. Browncroft changes to Atlantic Av. where the road changes from four to two lanes. Continue until you get to the light at the intersection with route 250. Continue for about a mile until you get to Harris Rd. Turn left on Harris Rd., go a short distance, and pull into his driveways on your left. It’s best not to park in the street or on the yards of his neighbors.
