May Meeting
The RRISCC May meeting is scheduled to be held at Frank Cabron’s home on Monday the 15th at 7:30 pm. This is the third week of the month, not our normal second week gathering time. Frank will share his first ascent on a peak in the cold north of Ellesmere Island and his very recent climb of Carstensz Pyramid in Irian Jaya.
Directions to Frank’s home at 152 Park Rd.:
From Route 490 East of Rochester, take the Bushnell’s Basin exit. Turn left at the end of the exit ramp onto the Pittsford-Victor Road (Route 96). After 0.7 miles turn right onto Park Road at the Powdermill Park sign. Drive 0.3 miles and turn left onto a private road at the “Mushroom House” (if you pass the fish hatchery, you’ve gone too far). Take the private road up the hill to the circle. We are down the second drive from the left. Parking: In our drive, around the circle, or in the fish hatchery parking lot.
