April 2006 Meeting
We plan to meet in the Cayuga Room at the RIT Inn & Conference Center on April 18th at 7:30 pm. Note that this is a place & time change! It was earlier announced that we would meet in the lodge of the Gander Mtn. Store at 6:30 pm. Not so – we have been moved from Gander over to this new location at their expense, since we had a conflict with another group also wanting to meet there that night. Please do not bring food and drinks with you. Not allowed. Stu will purchase cookies directly from them.
Kevin Flynn will present two of his seven continental highpoint climbs, his ascent of Mt. Elbrus on the greater European continent and his late November/early December 2005 climb of the Vinson Massif in the Antarctica. Having done the hard highpointers, he now has but one remaining peak to complete those notches in his well-rounded climbing belt – Kosciusko (fondly known as Kosie) in Australia. Kevin plans to coast up this peak with his wife in November of 2006. Kevin is a great speaker and his presentation and photos are sure to be scintillating and stimulating. Please invite all your friends and family to come with you as the room we purchased has a good seating capacity and ambience, and it comes with an 8′ x 8′ screen.

Park in the rear and enter through the back door numbered 2.
It is located on West Henrietta Rd. on the edge of the NYS Thruway.
It is over the hill and on the right side of West Henrietta Road going south from Marketplace Mall.
Those who wish to join RRISCC officially by paying the annual dues amount of $10.00 can do so for our new fiscal year September 1, 2005 through August 31, 2006 by sending a check to Henry Hamlin. His address can be found here. The advantages are that dues-paying members are entitled to a 10% discount at area outdoor stores, such as Snow Country and EMS. Also, dues-paying members can borrow library materials belonging to the club and to Stu Milligan. They are listed online here. A membership card will be mailed to you.
