The RRISCC November meeting is scheduled to be held at Bill & Cara McGlasson’s dome house on Monday the 13th at 7:30 pm. Be sure to check out their retrievers Gus & Gabe and their three horses Johnny-Rebel, Pride & Cody. The agenda includes climbs/hikes in the following areas of the world: McDowell Mts in Arizona; Hueco tanks; Black Hills; Yellowstone; Adirondacks; some thrilling sea-cliff climbing in Devon, England; a little climbing/hiking in the central-Bavarian Alps; an impromptu day-trip hike up a German-Alps peak near the famous Neuschwanstein (“Mad King Ludwig’s”) Castle; and maybe some hiking to some montainside temples near Kyoto, Japan. Now this is a lot of bang for your bucks!
Please note: our fiscal year runs from September through August of the next year, so, if you intend to become a 2000-2001 member and be listed on the club’s web member page, you should pay the dues by the end of November. On December 1st, I will remove all people listed there who have not paid the annual $10 dues. Slip Henry Hamlin the money at the next couple of meetings. Or, if you write a check, send it to Henry and make it out to Rochester Rock, Ice & Snow Climbing Club. Henry’s address is on the members’ web page.
