We plan to meet on May 22nd (fourth Tuesday) in the Gander Mountain store at 6:30 pm until 9 pm. We need to vacate the store by 9 pm as that is when they close up shop.
Serge Lossa, President of SophiTEC, Inc. in Pittsford, will be our guest presenter. He is a French national with a software development business here in Rochester. Frank Cabron set this up and says that Serge will give a slide presentation on rock climbing and mountaineering in France, as well as some insider tips and no-no’s for visiting climbers to the south of France. He will be sharing rock climbing in the Calanques & in the Gorges du Verdon. He will also share mountaineering in the souther Alps and in the Valleé des Merveilles.
Thanks to Frank, it will be an interesting program – hope you will make every effort possible to be there. By the way, this is our last meeting until October – so have a great and wonderful climbing summer season.
